I tend to notice that if I tee it up high, it goes too high so I tee it up low. My driver is a year old too.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I participate in long drive tourneys, and I tee the ball up high to catch it on the upswing. Hang time = distance.

I don’t know, Jack Nicklaus once said, “Tee it high because air offers less resistance than ground.” I’m a low-handicapper, and I tee it high because I want to strike the ball on the upswing and maximize height and carry. I also think you have to consider the fact that with these deep-faced clubs the sweetspot is above the center of the clubface.
