  1. I live in Arizona and for us that is thick rough. We are lucky. Hitting your tee shot in the rough doesn’t hurt at all. You can treat your next shot just like you would from the fairway almost. The longest rough I’ve seen in Arizona is about 3-4 inches max.

  3. The rough at my home course (Fereneze, Scotland) is roughly about 9 to 10 times longer. At knee height anyway on every hole and fairways are narrow. And it is windy as f***!
