“I have no clue. I am a beginner at golf so I know nothing. Who are the top 5 putters and top 3 companies making putters? Thank you.”
DEVELOP PERFECT PUTTING TECHNIQUE!

Best putting stroke to me would belong to the person with the lowest average putts per round….Tiger Woods at 1.685
top 5 players:
1. Tiger Woods $3,330,000
2. Phil Mickelson $2,086,320
3. K.J. Choi $1,535,715
4. Justin Leonard $1,479,289
5. Stewart Cink $1,435,462
Top 3 Companies ( I assume you mean golf related)
Titleist
Taylormade
Nike
Putting stroke? Brad Faxon is highly regarded. Retief Goosen is also spoken of. Tiger is the best putter, but as good as his stroke is, his thing is just making them.
Tiger (no putts down) he can read em! Jack is second by himself…Mickleson, Singh, Garcia thereafter… Best companies would be Titlelist, Nike, McGreger
Tiger Woods of course. But, along with the stroke goes the ability to read the green, and judge the distance.
I watch golf all the time on tv and Tiger Woods has the best putting stroke in the game of golf.
IMO…
Top 5 putters
1) Brad Faxon
2) Ben Crenshaw
3) Tiger Woods
4) Phil Mickelson
5) Chris DiMarco
Top 3 Putter Companies
1) Odyssey
2) YES!
3) Guerin Rife
Tiger is the best putter. Custom fitting for putters is now available, once you have developed a repeating stroke. Value wise Ping, Nike, Callaway, also give Scotty Cameron’s a try. They may sound extreme price wise, but worth it since it will be your most used club. All the best to you
Tiger.
If you look up “The Boss of the Moss” you will come with name of Loren Roberts. He is now on the seniors tour, but he was said to have been the best at reading and making putts.
As for companies that make putters, Odyssey makes good putters. Titleist bought the name Scotty Cameron and then later on gave him back his company name. Both are still good. Rossa(Taylormade) now has Kia designing Putters for them.
When it comes to choosing your putter, try many out and pick the one that looks and feels the best to you. Confidence in your equipment will get you lower scores.
