Start with individual lessons (Golf Galaxy has 4 for $99.00 or any professional), work on your flexibility daily, and buy clubs that have “senior” shaft (a higher kickpoint, more flexible for slower speeds). Just about all manufacturers make them now.
The Senior Golfer Guide is a golf course for seniors.
Prosimmon X30 Hybrid Full Golf Club Package is suitable golf equipment for seniors.

You didn’t mention your age, but flexibility has a huge effect on your golf swing (even when you’re not a senior). Get into a stretch program and stretch EVERY DAY. You’ll feel better, regardless of golf.
On top of that, I would focus on your short game and putting. If you can get to each green in 1 over regulation and 2 putt, you’d shoot 90. If you can 1 putt half the greens, you’d shoot 81. It’d drive your opponents nuts when they hit the green in reg and 3 jack and you get up and down for par!
Senior golfer… Tossed driver, went for a 14 degree 3 wood off tee and 18 degree hi bird, both low kick point regular. Use 5 wedges to avoid health problems, reverted to older masthead putter for easier alignment. Took practice to become accustomed to 64 degree wedge. Handicap is still low and dropped once these change were made. Also using Hogan pro steel shafted irons – strong loft, slight amount of forgiveness and shoot ’stupid long’. I will be changing to hon ma graphite this upcoming season.
