Thanks for this very useful tip. I have struggled with bunker shots for a very long time. I took your instruction to my local practice facility and for the first time I was able to consistently get out of the bunker with soft-landing shots. Putting my weight on my left side, the thought of crashing down into the sand just behind the ball, and following through really helped.
What about the club face? Open, right? And an open stance to counteract the open face. Correct? So if it’s sitting up, open face but if it’s buried then close the club face?
