Refering to lower trajectory, bump and run, knockdown… Any average yardage table out there online for this? It would save me an afternoon measuring yardage.
Low shot – as an example, my 8 iron goes about 130, my 5 iron goes around 165. A smooth swing with proper alignment should result in a fairly consistent shot. Does a low shot that rolls more go the same distance?
Knockdown around the greens – With a 9 iron the last couple rounds, hit a few of these right at the hole, but the success was from feel, not from knowing how far it would carry/roll.
