5 iron. It will be easier to putt with than a 7 iron or hybrid club. You may also be able to get a little more distance with it.

I am a sucker for the 7 iron. Although maybe you could try blading a wedge around… you can knock it mile if you have too.

yes i would definitely choose a mid-number club like a 7. With a 7, hitting the ball will be easy, and chipping will be fairly simple. The only problem is putting, in which i recommend you close the club head, put the ball in the back of your stance, and lightly tap the upper half of the ball.

6 iron. Distance off the tee, good for chipping, low loft so you can putt with it.

7 iron. Can tee off, chip, and even putt with it.

A sexy 6..You can gain a distance with it..chip with it..and if you close it you can putt with it.

if you have a hybrid of 21 deg of loft or more bring that because some par 3s may be more that 180 yards. And for the shorter holes just choke up and Swing easier. If you have no hybrid use a 5 iron works very well.

If I were playing a longer course, like 7,000+ yards, I would use a 4-iron. It’s long enough to get decent yardage from the tees, and I could still use it to chip and putt with.

Mostly Par 3s? Definitely an 8-iron.

i have play a short par 3 course before and in my opinion, i would go with the 7 iron. when you putt with the 7 iron, try to hit the top half of the ball with the blade of your club.
